Memorial Day weekend is coming up and if you workout at a Crossfit gym you can expect to see this workout at your gym.This workout is specifically to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005. What does Murph consist of?
1 mile Run
100 Pull-Ups
200 Push-Ups
300 Air Squats
1 mile Run
*With a 20 lb Vest or Body Armor
This was Michaels favorite workout to do, which is also referred to as "body armor" because of the 20 lb vest that is accompanied with this intense workout. Michaels story is truly is compelling and this workout is done as not only a tribute to him but also to the countless service members we have lost in the past.
